Its fascinating to watch the adoption curve of Ice cream sandwich within the overall Android space. Why am I focused on it? Well Android 4.0 ( aka Ice cream sandwich)is the first version to support Apple's HLS format. So I thought it was interesting to plot it month by month and see where we are headed.
Of course that rate of adoption increase cannot continue indefinitely and almost a year has passed since Ice cream sandwich was released! Here are the numbers from Android developers where Android 4.0+ versions now total 16.7%
